Experience

Gustavo Cedrone has a vast trajectory in administrative and regulatory Law; arbitration and mediation; oil & gas; environmental, constitutional and telecommunications Law. He has advised clients on the main privatization processes in Argentina and on key international arbitrations.

He is a partner within the Administrative Law and Business Regulation practice at Mitrani, Caballero & Ruiz Moreno. Previously, he was a partner at Rosso Alba, Francia & Ruiz Moreno (2006-2009) and a senior associate with Hope, Duggan & Silva (1999-2005). He was also an associate with Demaría, Fernández Cronenbold & Barra (1994-1999); a legal advisor to the Secretary of Natural Resources and Sustainable Development (1994-1998). He has been an associate with Baker & Mc Kenzie (1993-1994); an in-house lawyer at Telefónica de Argentina (1991-1993) and an associate with Del Carril, Valiente Noailles & Padilla (1988-1990).

Gustavo Cedrone has been a deputy professor of History of Law and of Administrative Law at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, School of Law. He is a frequent speaker in conferences on administrative and regulatory law. He is Vice Chair of the Latin America  & Caribbean Committee of the American Bar Association (ABA), Section of International Law, FY 2017/18. He has been appointed moderator and speaker in the Fall Meeting of the American Bar Association 2016 (Japan, October 2016) and in the ABA International Energy and Natural Resources Committee (IENRC) Fall Meeting (Miami, U.S.A., October 2017). He has received the 2017 Corporate Intl Magazine global award “Lawyer of the Year” (Argentina/ Business Regulation).
