Experience

Rita Payarola has extensive experience in labor and social security matters.

She advises clients on the preparation and negotiation of employment agreements concerning employment conditions and executive compensation and employee benefits. She provides consulting assistance on specific labor and social security matters. Ms. Payarola represents clients in administrative and judicial proceedings in all kinds of labor and social security litigation, including: wrongful and constructive discharge claims; wage calculation, working hours and overtime disputes; work accident and industrial disease lawsuits; senior executive claims; and other employment-related claims. She also provides assistance to companies during debt assessment procedures carried out by collection agencies (government, trade union, etc.), at the administrative as well as at the judicial level. In addition, she regularly manages and supervises local counsel in courts throughout the country. She provides assistance in occupational health and safety issues as well.

She is a partner within the Labor and Social Security Law practice at Mitrani, Caballero & Ruiz Moreno. Prior to joining the firm, she was an associate with Bruchou, Fernández Madero, Lombardi & Mitrani (2006-2007) and an in-house advisor to the Techint Group’s Labor Law Department (2002-2006).
