We built a solar water heater with Sumando Energías
As part of our positive impact initiatives, we participated in the construction of an eco-friendly water heater to provide hot water to a family in a vulnerable situation.
This initiative was carried out in collaboration with Sumando Energías, an NGO comprised of architects and engineers specializing in renewable energy and sustainability. Through hands-on workshops, they work with residents of underserved neighborhoods to build equipment that harnesses renewable energy, providing access to basic services.
The eco-friendly water heaters, like the one we helped build, are made using recycled materials such as PET bottles, soda cans, or Tetra Bricks. Sumando Energías has already worked with 160 families to assemble such systems, benefiting over 800 people who now have access to hot water powered by solar energy.
At Mitrani Caballero, we promote solidarity and environmental care initiatives through our Corporate Social Responsibility Committee. This platform encourages active participation from all members of the firm, driving projects that strengthen both our social awareness and teamwork.
