We Join the Pro Bono Commission and Reinforce Our Commitment to the Community

To enhance the pro bono advisory work we have been providing for years to those who need it most, we have joined the Pro Bono Commission of the Buenos Aires City Bar Association.

We are now part of a network that brings together the country’s leading law firms with the aim of making legal assistance accessible to individuals and organizations in vulnerable situations.

To celebrate this milestone, we held a meeting at our offices with members of the commission. Representing our firm were Carlos Trogolo, who is the leader of the pro bono team, and Yamila Di Martino, who is our coordinator. Partner Mercedes Rodríguez Giavarini and Damiana Ponferrada, our Business Development Director also attended the meeting.

We talked about the motivations behind assuming this commitment and shared our expectations. We also introduced our first joint project: an environmental research initiative coordinated by the Vance Center, in collaboration with the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics and Political Science. This center brings together experts in law, economics, and finance to develop policies related to climate change. Our professionals will contribute their knowledge and experience on the subject, working alongside other law firms from Argentina and the region.

Beyond this initiative, Mitrani Caballero has carried out various pro bono actions over the years. Notable examples include providing labor law support to Fundación Cimientos, collaborating with INICIA to assist entrepreneurs with corporate matters, and supporting Sumando Energías in its incorporation process.

Through these efforts, we put into practice our commitment to equal access to top-tier legal advice. We firmly believe that joining the Pro Bono Commission will enable us to make an even greater contribution toward building a more just society.
