Women in Mining: A Gathering to Celebrate Female Leadership in the Mining Industry

Our partner, María Paula Terrel, participated in the Women in Mining Latin America (WIM LatAm) event organized at the Gowling WLG office in Toronto. The event brought together leading professionals from the global mining industry to reflect on their impact on the sector.

The gathering featured insightful discussions on the most groundbreaking technological advancements in mining and the key role women play in the development and application of these innovations. It also addressed how they are leading the implementation of environmentally friendly practices and promoting a more sustainable industry model.

WIM LatAm provided a valuable networking space for participants to discuss the challenges and opportunities they face today. It was a crucial meeting to exchange experiences and explore ways to strengthen female representation in mining.
