Cristian Mitrani has been distinguished with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from Latin Lawyer

We are honored to announce that the international publication Latin Lawyer has recognized one of our founding partners, Cristian Mitrani, with its prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. This award highlights his distinguished career spanning nearly five decades in the legal field.

Since the establishment of our firm, Cristian Mitrani has demonstrated a visionary approach, guiding us through complex challenges and solidifying our position as a leader in Argentina and the region.

Cristian began his legal career as Assistant Secretary and Secretary of the National Court of Appeals in Federal Administrative Litigation and the Presidency of the Supreme Court of Justice of Argentina. Prior to Mitrani/Caballero, he gained extensive experience as senior counsel in the legal department of the Techint Group. He also led the international practice of another renowned Argentine firm, where he was a name partner, and from 2004 to 2005, he was a visiting partner at Bonelli Erede Pappalardo in Milan.

A reference in corporate law and M&A, Cristian has led significant cross-border transactions in Latin America, Europe, the United States, and Asia. Renowned companies such as Tenaris and Ternium have relied on his advice for key operations. Additionally, he is widely recognized for his expertise in compliance, antitrust, and data privacy.

The Lifetime Achievement Award not only honors his professional achievements but also his values and initiatives. Thanks to his strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, we were among the first firms in the country to adopt maternity policies and flexible working hours. Moreover, we have become one of the main promoters of female representation in the Argentine legal market, making us the firm with the highest proportion of female partners in the region.

His dedication to pro bono work is equally remarkable, particularly his collaboration with Haciendo Camino, an organization that works to improve the quality of life for families in vulnerable social situations in northern Argentina.

We celebrate this achievement and express our admiration for Cristian Mitrani’s legacy. His leadership, vision, and wisdom will continue to guide our path forward.
