Mitrani Caballero Attending IBA 2024 Conference

Our partners will be attending the International Bar Association’s (IBA) annual conference, the most important international event for legal professionals, which will take place in Mexico City from September 15 to 20.

Each year, lawyers from around the world gather at IBA to share knowledge and exchange ideas on the latest trends in the legal sector. The event attracts over 5,000 professionals from law firms, corporations, government entities, and regulatory bodies.

The delegation representing Mitrani Caballero at this important conference will include Siro Astolfi and Diego Parise from the Commercial Law and Mergers & Acquisitions practice; Mercedes Rodríguez Giavarini from Banking, Finance, and Corporate Law; and Juan Manuel Iglesias Mamone from Tax Law.

In addition, Mercedes Rodríguez Giavarini will be a speaker in the session Change is Constant – The Evolving Role of the General Counsel, taking place on September 18. Alongside other experts, she will discuss how geopolitical, environmental, economic, and technological changes are transforming the role of legal advisors.

Meanwhile, Juan Manuel Iglesias Mamone will join the panel Session Tax-AI-tion and the Digital Divide. This session, to be held on September 19, will focus on the impact of artificial intelligence on tax practice.
