  • We assisted Molinos Río de la Plata (Argentina’s largest branded food products company and one of the country’s main exporters of bottled oil) in the acquisition of the assets related to Mondelez Argentina’s pasta business in Argentina.
  • We assisted Advent in its acquisition of Culligan, a manufacturer and provider of water softeners, filtration systems and industrial water treatment.
  • We act as international and Argentine counsel to Raízen in the acquisition of Shell’s downstream assets in Argentina (which included the Buenos Aires Refinery and around 600 retail stations).
  • We advised Molinos Rio de la Plata in a reorganization process involving the merger by absorption with its wholly-owned subsidiary, Bodega Ruca Malen (a company that produces and commercializes wine in the Province of Mendoza).
  • We assisted Libertad (local subsidiary of Grupo Casino, among the three largest supermarket chain in Argentina), in the merger proceeding with Géant Argentina (an affiliate of Group Casino), its controlling shareholder.
  • We advised Molinos Río de la Plata’s acquisition of 50% of the company Viña Cobos S.A., a high-end Argentine winery, with significant presence and internationally renowned.
  • We advised Molinos Río de la Plata’s sale of its participation interest in Renova’s soya processing plant (one of the largest in the world and which can pulp 20,000 metric tons of soya bean every day) to Oleaginosa Moreno Hermanos and Vicentín Group.
  • We assist local subsidiaries of multinational companies to review and reassess their local corporate governance and compliance programs.
  • Our firm provides daily assessment on competition and antitrust matters, covering advice on specific commercial agreements and analysis of recently enacted antitrust and trade regulations.
  • We assist our clients in cartel allegation investigations conducted by the antitrust authority.
  • We represented three retail companies in the framework of one of the major investigations carried out by the antitrust authority regarding the food, beverages and cleaning products industries.

  • We advise different multinational companies in connection with the termination or amendment of several long-term relationships with distributor and suppliers.
  • We represented the private equity fund The Jordan Company in its acquisition of Anchor Packaging (a market-leading manufacturer of rigid packaging products for the non-cyclical foodservice, retail supermarket and food manufacturing markets) from Hermann Companies.
  • We advised Grupo Lamosa in connection with the expropriation procedure of its ceramic factory in San Luis, Argentina (owned by its wholly owned subsidiary, Ceramica San Lorenzo).
